Shared Workspaces

Create workspaces that multiple team members can access. Each workspace has its own R2 storage scope, file tree, and sync state. Members see the same files, and changes sync to everyone in real time.

Role-based Access Control

Four roles with escalating permissions:

Viewer
Browse and download files. Cannot upload, edit, or delete.
Member
Upload, edit, and delete their own files. Create folders. Generate share links.
Admin
All member permissions, plus: invite/remove members, change roles, manage workspace settings.
Owner
Full control. Transfer ownership. Delete workspace. Manage billing.

AI File Agent

Ask questions about your team's files in natural language. The AI agent uses Workers AI and Vectorize to understand your documents — search by meaning, auto-tag uploads, and get summaries without opening files.

Admin Dashboard

A web-based control panel for workspace admins. View storage usage per member, see active sync sessions, manage invites, review the audit log, and configure workspace-level settings like max file size and allowed file types.

Audit Log

Every file upload, download, delete, share, and permission change is logged with timestamp, user, and IP address. Admins can filter and export the log for compliance and security reviews.

Custom Storage Limits

Set per-workspace and per-user storage quotas. Storage is backed by your team's R2 bucket at Cloudflare's standard R2 pricing ($0.015/GB/mo, $0 egress). No DoubleSpace markup on storage costs.

Do I need a Cloudflare account?

Yes. DoubleSpace stores your files in your own Cloudflare R2 bucket. You maintain full ownership and control of your data. A free Cloudflare account includes 10 GB of R2 storage.

What happens to my files if I stop using DoubleSpace?

Nothing. Your files live in your R2 bucket. DoubleSpace is the sync and access layer — remove it and your files are still in R2, accessible via the Cloudflare dashboard, S3-compatible tools, or any R2 client.

Is the Solo plan really free?

Yes, with no catch. Solo uses your own R2 free tier (10 GB). DoubleSpace doesn't charge for the software. You only pay Cloudflare if you exceed the free tier limits.

Can I upgrade from Solo to Pro?

Yes. Pro adds a shared workspace layer on top of the same R2 infrastructure. Your existing files and sync configuration carry over.

Where does my data go?

Into your Cloudflare R2 bucket — and nowhere else. DoubleSpace credentials are stored in your OS keychain. The DoubleSpace API handles auth, metadata, and sync coordination but never touches your file contents.
